Non-Surgical Treatments
Not every stage of hair loss calls for surgery. Non-surgical treatment can help preserve the hair you still have and slow further progression. It is often the right first step, long before transplantation needs to be considered.
Dr. Demir's Approach
Protect what you have,
before you replace it.
Dr. Demir evaluates the stage and pattern of your hair loss to determine which non-surgical options may be appropriate, and whether they should support a future transplant or be used on their own. In early or diffuse thinning, preserving existing follicles can be more valuable than replacing lost density later.
Treatment may also be the right starting point for patients who are not currently suitable for surgery, or for anyone who wants to slow progression while considering their next steps.
Is This Right for You?
Often the right
place to start.
If you are noticing early thinning, want to preserve your current density, or are unsure whether you are ready for a procedure, this consultation is the right place to start. Dr. Demir will assess what is realistic and explain whether non-surgical treatment or hair transplantation is the more appropriate next step.
This page explains Dr. Demir's clinical perspective and does not replace an individual medical assessment. Suitability, response, side effects and timelines vary; no specific outcome can be guaranteed. Any treatment decision should follow a review of medical history and diagnosis.

The First Step
The first step is not
booking surgery.
It is a conversation with Dr. Demir about whether treatment is the right call for you at all. In person or over video, he will review your case and explain what may be realistic, and what may not be. An online review is preliminary; final suitability and planning require an appropriate medical history and examination.
